Not from the same batch, and after speaking with the supplier he admitted that he had bought it in ( a bit of a giveaway was the slight rise in price to a) coincide with colder weather and b) pass on his costs of buying in) Big complaint to supplier was met with 'other people are happy'. Eventually he did offer another trailer load at a cheaper price. Not quite the deal we wanted. Fine if it was going to be seasoned a bit longer but we were running low. So, OK supplier who let himself down. Lesson: don't accept anything without probing with a moisture meter - and remember, the second delivery might not be from the same batch as the first.
